Every who down in Who-ville likes Christmas a lot, but the Grinch who lived just north of Who-ville did NOT! So the cuddly as a cactus Grinch (with termites in his smile and garlic in his soul) tries to wipe out Christmas for the cheerful Who-villains, only to discover: maybe Christmas, he thought doesn’t come from as store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more! Magnificently narrated by Boris Karloff and animated by cartoon legend Chuck Jones, it’s an award-winning Who-roast-beast-feast of a holiday classic! more info

Quality good, color bad/
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
The video quality of both movies is good. As good as originally broadcast, which was very flat looking compared to today’s work. However, the Grinch is the wrong color, dingy yellow, not green. This probably won’t affect children seeing it for the first time, but it kind of ruins it for nostalgic watchers.
Collectors beware
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Be careful if it is “fulfillment by Amazon’ and sold by “pieceofmindmedia” It arrived with just a clear case and claimed that it was listed that way, it wasn’t. I was able to ship it back to Amazon for free for a refund.
Classic Christmas Cartoon
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
How can anyone not remember “How the Grinch Stole Christmas?”
Despite a horrible “live” version with Jim Carrey a few years ago.. the cartoon is still one to be enjoyed no matter your age
The original and the BEST!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The Original Grinch is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies! I am so glad to have it in my Christmas collection!
Great Item

This DVD is a great replacement for the old VHS with this title. Great transaction.
Still a classic
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Having obviously seeing this every year for the passed, say, many years, I did have a VHS copy of this. It was a natural progression to upgrade to the DVD version. Despite the previous reviewers about missing extras. I came to purchase this for the short alone. It is gorgeous in color, as it has been cleaned up. Seems we got so used to the tv version, which has faded quite a bit.
Am pleased not only for the superb quality, but the low price.
A classic that can be viewed anytime!
5 stars!

Classic holiday treat
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
If you love great holiday stories and Doctor Seuss then you ‘ll love this great DVD! Good quality, obviously not crystal clear animation due to the fact it was made 40 some years ago. Nevertheless the amazing creative story shines through everytime with every viewing, I love it!
Holiday Tradition

I have certain tradition for the holidays and watching this cute film based on the book by Dr. Seuss and one of them.
A Great Christmas Tale
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The story about Whoville and the Grinch is a wonderful Christmas Tale. Everyone else has talked about the songs, Max and, of course, Cindy Lou Who. However, the story is also one of true Christmas sentiments. There is redemption, changing of the Grinch’s heart, and the indomitable spirit of all of the Who’s and their recognition that even without the Roast Beast and the toys, Christmas is still Christmas. What a clear and gentle message. (And how much fun, too!)
