It's not one of the "classics", and probably doesn't deserve to be, but it is fun and easy to watch with performances from some of old Hollywood's great character actors like the unsung Dennis Morgan. I have grown to admire Barbara Stanwyck's tremendous body of work and her range of type, and she puts some funny moments into this movie. <br />It's a smart purchase as you won't see this all over the airwaves, maybe just once on <br />TCM at Christmas time. The whole family can watch, thanks to the censorship in place at the time it was made. I put this in the DVD player as soon as I received it and watched it two more times during the holiday season.
